Waiting for the Dawn

It was a lovely day,

Till the moment came,

Secret revealed to me,

Then things never been the same.

I was sure,

When we were together,

You wont leave my hand,

Even in harshest weather.

Today, I find myself,

Trapped in this new world,

Trying to escape,

But the paths are curled.

I cry off my feelings,

But no one to care,

I scream off my throat,

But no one to hear.

Dont you worry dear,

These days will be gone,

After this black night,

There will be new dawn.

We will bend these bars,

And flutter our wings,

We will fly off together,

To the land of our dreams.....

Dreams

We close our eyes and go to sleep,

With thoughts in our mind, dull, yet so deep,

We see some figures, similar to those on screen,

This is what we can define as a dream.

Some dreams are tragic, some are sweet,

Some show their ‘Prince’ and how they’ll meet,

Some we can catch while some are stream,

And some meet their destiny in their dream.

They are nothing but doubts in our mind,

Answers of them which we need to find,

Dreams are life’s part of every boy and girl,

They have their own world, out of the World

Writing A Poem

Writing a poem

Is not a tough job,

Anyone can do it,

A pope or a snob.

Whatever in your mind,

Just write it down,

Make some adjectives,

Look like a noun.

Prepare a sentence,

Rearrange the words,

Just make sure,

It makes sense when heard.

Find the rhymes,

Put them together,

Replace some words,

Like “hard skin” for “leather”.

Write what you feel,

Pen down your thoughts,

One important thing,

The meaning is not lost.

Follow some rules,

And keep mind steady,

At the end you’ll find,

The masterpiece is ready… J

First day of new life.....

It was not the normal morning as it seemed to be. It was the morning for which I waited for a month. Bags packed with clothes, eyes packed with dreams and mind packed with illusions of future life. And finally the moment came, when this bird has to leave its nest and spread wings to fly.

I had to catch the train. Everyone was so excited that we reached station way before time and had to wait there for train. The train arrived and I felt that this moment is made for me. This is my carrier to my fortune. My friends were waiting for me in the train. As train started moving, a cold breeze touched my ears, trying to say something I guess. I could actually see my destiny, very small ofcourse. I was heading to the place where I waiting to be at. The place which obsessed me for last one month.

There are two times in life when you get surprised. One when you dont get the expected and second when you get more than expected. In my case, the reason was later one. I was astonished to see the campus. I didn't even think of anything so beautiful and it was there, in front of me, waiting for me, greeting me. There was no better way to start a day.

There were more surprises waiting for me. As I entered my room, my jaws dropped to feet. It was the most beautiful room I had ever seen in my life. My heart was beating faster. I had enough surprises for the day. But fate had something more for me in the store. The word I heard next left me speechless. This was a housekeeping guy who came and called me "SIR". I never felt so honored before.

When I was left alone in the room, I took a deep breath and thought this is my destiny and this is what I left my home for.

Rest of the day was spent exploring the beauty of that land of dreams. As next day was about to start early, I went to bed early.

Also I heard it somewhere, "Early to bed and early to rise, makes man Healthy, Wealthy and Wise"
